programmes to suit new criteria or/and to improve the standard –includes reduce,

universities / colleges for instance UPSI and UiTM

for ‘job in the market’ –suitable and cater the areas of specialization
currently needed most
§ Develop new
courses
Competition
§ More private
and public universities or colleges
Internalisation
§ More
recognition obtained internationally or in the process of getting recognition. For example the ISOs.

in the ranking process / activity by international body or organization
§ Students
Exchange Programmes with other international universities or colleges

the aim to speed up the process of corporatisation and privatization.
