Assalamualaikum. Hello semua. 

Sharing the is the PPKI banner of the school. Quite a size in reality.

The banner is created using Microsoft Powerpoint by simply layering pictures. Where do I found the pictures? Of course the INTERNET. This is not a single picture. There are a few pictures (not the cloud) which I combined and used to design the banner. Berhati-hati dalam memilih gambar yang percuma untuk dimuat turun! Try an do it.

Towards Inclusive Training for Inclusive Education (Published paper in INTED2019 Proceedings)

Good day.


Alhamdulillah, I had the opportunity to present a paper at a prestigious international conference in 2019. The conference was the 13th International Technology, Education and Development Conference, held in Valencia, Spain on the 11th, 12th and the 13th of November 2019. The INTED conference is an annual event attended and joined by many practitioners, researchers and scholars across the globe such as Finland, Germany, Greece, Portugal, Japan, United States, United Kingdom, Tanzania, Turkey, Russian Federation, and the United Arab Emirates.

I marked Kota Bharu, Ipoh and Southampton- all three!

This was the first conference that I presented outside the UK. I had a marvellous time at the conference. It was indeed a memorable experience as I endured another interesting event during the trip. (I will try to share the excitement about the trip in another post).

There was a pact of activities during the conference. I enjoyed attending a few activities before and after the presentation. I learned plenty of new things there. There were the usual oral presentation, poster presentation, the seminar, hands-on activities, networking activities and many more. Also, there were two keynote speeches:

• Digital Leadership: Changing Paradigms for Changing Time by Eric Sheninger
• How Neuroscience is Changing What We Know about Learning: Practical Insights for Instructors by Barbara Oakley

During the previous MCO and recently CMCO, I have been learning many new things while preparing a module for my pupils. Yes, learning never stops for me. I like to challenge myself and learn new things. Hence, I tried the anyflip and created the ebook from the research paper.

Assalamualaikum wbt. dan salam sejahtera.

Dalam situasi sekarang, segalanya berlaku di luar norma kita. Gaya hidup, media sosial, tugas profesional, masa bersama keluarga dan yang utamanya masa kepada Ilahi. Semuanya berubah. Ini mendambakan kita berfikir di luar kotak - menjadikan kita InsyaAllah lebih berinovasi.

Sebagai pendidik, saya sentíasa memikirkan sesuatu yang dapat membantu murid bekeperluan khas (MBK). Tanpa mengira guru perdana atau khas, memikirkan kesesuaian bahan, keupayaan murid dan akses murid kepada bahan menyebabkan ramai di antara kita bersengkang mata untuk mempelajari sesuatu (yang mungkin baru) untuk menghasilkan inovasi yang dapat dicapai oleh murid. 

Sebagai agen perubahan, kita akan sentiasa berusaha memainkan peranan sebagai pendidik dengan lebih bijak, lebih kreatif dan lebih inovatif. Ya, kita perlu sentiasa belajar..explore sesuatu perkara yang baru dan mengetahui bahawa sesuatu perlu diteroka. 

Dalam usaha meningkatkan ilmu dan niat untuk memastikan MBK berkefungsian rendah tidak ketinggalan dalam pembelajaran mereka, video pertama telah saya mula naik ke youtube. Video ini video Kenali Haiwan Peliharaan di pautan

Penghasilan video berkualiti sebenarnya bergantung kepada banyak faktor antaranya kemudahan peranti yang ada dan proses mengedit. Video juga dimuatnaik ke YouTube bukan untuk mengejar populariti tetapi memberi pilihan kepada ramai untuk akses kepada bahan. Mungkin ini juga satu permulaan. Yang penting kita sentiasa berusaha untuk belajar dan meningkatkan ilmu dan membuat sesuatu dengan ikhlas. InsyaAllah ganjaran yang besar menanti kita semua. 

Harapan saya video ini dapat membantu ibu bapa/penjaga dan anak-anak saya yang telah lama tidak saya dijumpai dapat terus belajar (dan melepaskan rindu kepada Teacher Lily)!

Assalamualaikum dan salam sejahtera..

Semoga anda semua sihat sejahtera. Untuk permulaan atau first entry pada tahun 2020 sesuai dengan situasi sekarang dalam Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Bersyarat, saya kongsikan Lembaran Kerja untuk subjek Sains, Sosial dan Alam Sekitar. Lembaran kerja pada kali ini bertemakan Haiwan. Ia adalah contoh lembaran kerja yang boleh disediakan bagi murid bekeperluan khas untuk pelbagai tahap penguasaan. UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHAMPTON DOCTORAL RESEARCH SHOWCASE 2018

It is not an easy job...but, again I took the opportunity to explore and to be more innovative & amp; competitive - at least at the University level, if not at the global platform... I prepared and presented another poster  (entitled Creating An Inclusive Education: The Teachers' Views) at the University yearly showcase and won the Poster Award together with £100 cash... Alhamdulillah..! Things might look easy, but in reality it is never easy at all.... You need to really struggle for it.. Thanks to my supervisor, Prof Kiki Messiou & Dr John Woolard for their motivation...!

FESTIVAL OF DOCTORAL RESEARCH (8-24 May 2018)

I attended the Faculty of Social, Human and Mathematical Science Heats Research Showcase on Wednesday - 9 May 2018. It is a yearly event for PhD by research organised by the Faculty. I managed to present my poster entitled Embracing Inclusive Education - Effective Professional Development. Alhamdulillah, my poster was voted as the best for Visual Impact Category....won £75 and was awarded a certificate.....! Mind you...it is a challenging thing to do because this is the first time I tried to venture myself in something competitive (with a prize award) here in the UK..
